ATTENTION:
The Electric Company on Varick Street in Utica hosts the Mohawk
Valley Blues Society "Open Jam Nights" the second WEDNESDAY of
each month. The jams begin at 7PM with an opening set by the host band. Interested performers are asked to sign
in prior to taking the stage. There
is normally a three song set limit to be sure everybody gets a fair chance
on stage.
This is not an "open mic night" at the Electric Company; this is a
blues jam for musicians of all levels interested in playing the blues with
fellow blues musicians. Come join us!
In addition to all the great blues music, you can find
out about upcoming MVBS events and fundraisers, take a shot at our monthly
50/50 raffle, and catch up on all the great benefits that becoming a member
brings you!
You do NOT have to be a member to participate in our
monthly jam nights. There is a $3 admission fee for non-members and only$1
for Members.
